Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania Kicks Off ‘Cold Weather Minute’ Campaign to Help Customers Manage Their Winter Energy Bills

To help our customers effectively manage their energy bills as temperatures drop, Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania each week is offering the ‘Cold Weather Minute’ – useful tips customers can follow to stay warm, stay safe and save money during the winter heating season.

The first installments of the Cold Weather Minute highlight practical information and guidelines on issues customers face when cold temperatures arrive, including:

  • Heating your home safely this winter
  • Winterizing your home to reduce energy costs
  • Managing your heating bills when cold temperatures arrive
  • Removing snow and ice from gas meters

Customers can visit the Columbia Gas Cold Weather Minute website each week for the latest Cold Weather Minute, along with past installments, and follow the tips to effectively manage their energy costs and to use their energy more efficiently.

Other upcoming installments of the Cold Weather Minute will focus on furnace maintenance, carbon monoxide safety, sealing air leaks, efficient hot water usage and kitchen energy savings.
