To continue to provide you with safe and reliable service, we conduct routine maintenance and testing of our natural gas meters to ensure they are operating properly and accurately recording your natural gas usage. This process includes replacing or exchanging gas meters across the state.

As part of this process, we will need access to your home to replace your meter at no cost to you. If you are contacted by our team, please call us at 1-888-460-4332 to schedule your meter replacement appointment, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. - 7 p.m., and Saturday, 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.

The process usually takes about 45 minutes. During your meter replacement appointment, a technician will turn off your gas service, remove your existing meter and replace it with a new meter. Once a new meter is installed, the technician will need to enter your home to perform a safety check of your natural gas appliances. If no leaks or other issues are detected, the technician will relight your appliances.

This testing is required by state and federal regulations.
