Grant Application Process
Columbia Gas actively supports organizations that are working to make a difference in the communities we serve. Every year, we award grants to non-profit organizations that help improve the quality of life for our customers, our employees, and our neighbors in the communities where we deliver safe and reliable natural gas service. Our focus areas are:
- First responders
- Senior-focused organizations
- Environmental sustainability
- Human needs (examples: crisis shelters, food banks, homeless shelters, etc.)
Civic organizations (examples: historical preservation, community events, economic development, etc.)
Eligible organizations must complete a grant application for review and consideration. Requests are accepted year-round, and are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
In addition to having focus in one of our three areas listed above, eligible organizations must have 501 (c) (3), non-profit, tax exempt status with the IRS and must operate in the Company's service territory. Please review our service territory map to see if your organization is eligible.
