Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania supports and assists the life changing work of the American Red Cross. Throughout the year, employee volunteers assist the American Red Cross with home fire safety and smoke alarm installation, coordinate and organize blood drives and participate in fundraising initiatives benefiting the non-profit.
York Day of Action Team

Across the Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania service territory, employees regularly take part in United Way Day of Caring volunteer events. Columbia Gas employees come together with fellow community members to work on various volunteer projects aimed at improving and beautifying the neighborhoods where we work and live.

As a part of that commitment, we partner with non-profits in our community like Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful and Wildlife for Everyone – organizations that help to protect, conserve and celebrate the environment.

Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania partners with the Salvation Army to support Project Bundle-Up. Project Bundle-Up is a program that provides new winter outerwear for disadvantaged children and seniors across western Pennsylvania. Employee volunteers shop with children, providing assistance in choosing winter outerwear for the upcoming cold weather season.
