LIHEAP (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program)
Aside from offering its own assistance programs, Columbia Gas serves as a link to federal funds that provide financial help to cover residential heating costs. The funds are available between November 1, 2016 and March 31, 2017 and are distributed as energy grants. Guidelines change with each new heating season and focus primarily on household size and income level. Columbia Gas has current information on eligibility and program details. Call the LIHEAP Hotline at 1-800-272-2714.
