Annually, we award more than $450,000 in grants to help improve the quality of life for our customers, employees and neighbors in the communities where we deliver safe and reliable natural gas service.

In addition to supporting non-profit organizations through monetary funding, Columbia Gas is committed to employee volunteerism, natural gas safety education for first responders, as well as energy efficiency and bill assistance for seniors and low-income customers.
Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania encourages employees to volunteer in the communities where the Company safely and reliability delivers natural gas. Employees are often provided the opportunity to volunteer both during and after work hours and the Company supports causes and initiatives of significance to employees and their families.
Our employees play a critical role in philanthropic efforts, donating significant time and money to causes and organizations they believe in. Columbia Gas supports and encourages employee volunteerism through our corporate NiSource Dollars for Doers program, which contributes up to $500 per employee to an organization in return for volunteer time.
