Rate Information
Important Change:
Customers are now being billed for the amount of energy consumed, or therms (thm), instead of the volume of natural gas consumed, or hundred cubic feet (Ccf). As a naturally occurring product, the amount of energy contained within a given volume of natural gas will vary based upon where the gas originated.
If you are a residential customer, your current price to compare in thms, effective Jan. 1, 2012, is $0.47773 per thm.
If you are evaluating an offer from a Natural Gas Supplier, use the Price to Compare of $0.47773 per thm for comparison.
The latest sales/distribution rate information includes a comparison of the sales cost (distribution and GCR) rate versus the Customer CHOICE® Program (distribution only) rate. The Pennsylvania Consumer Advocate carefully tracks all available rates.
