Information About Rate Adjustments
On Friday, September 28, Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania, Inc., a subsidiary of NiSource Inc. (NYSE: NI), filed a request with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC) to adjust is rates in order to recover investments required to upgrade the Company’s underground natural gas distribution facilities. Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania is the first natural gas utility to seek a rate adjustment under Act 11, a new Pennsylvania law passed earlier this year that addresses utility ratemaking.
